The Varol Tent factory is located in Ankara, Turkey, the country's capital and a major industrial hub. Founded in 1987 by Mehmet Varol and formally incorporated in 1999, we have grown from a small workshop into a full-scale tent manufacturing facility producing hundreds of structures each year for clients across Europe, the Middle East and worldwide.

Our Manufacturing Facility in Ankara

The Varol Tent factory houses dedicated production zones for fabric processing, metalwork and final assembly. Our production line includes high-frequency welding machines, industrial sewing equipment, CNC pipe bending machines and quality control stations. Every tent is designed, produced and inspected entirely in-house before shipping — there is no outsourcing of critical production stages.

Raw Materials: Fabric and Steel

Every Varol Tent structure begins with carefully selected raw materials. We source PVC-coated polyester fabric from certified suppliers that meet our durability and safety standards. Our standard fabric provides UV resistance, waterproof performance and fire-retardant properties. For heavy-duty industrial and military applications, we use reinforced fabrics with higher tensile strength and longer service life.

Steel frames are manufactured from galvanised steel pipe engineered to withstand regional wind loads, snow loads and long-term outdoor exposure. Frame dimensions and wall thickness are calculated for each project based on its size, location and intended use.

High-Frequency Fabric Welding

One of the most important production technologies at the Varol Tent factory is high-frequency (HF) welding. HF welding creates molecular bonds between PVC-coated panels that are significantly stronger and more watertight than stitched seams. This process eliminates needle holes and produces a seamless waterproof join that lasts for decades under outdoor conditions.

Steel Frame Production and Galvanising

Our metalwork workshop handles all frame production in-house. Steel pipes are cut to specification, bent using CNC bending machines and welded by experienced technicians. All metal components are hot-dip galvanised or powder-coated to protect against corrosion. Connectors, brackets and anchoring hardware are manufactured to tight tolerances for reliable assembly on any terrain.

Quality Control at Every Stage

Varol Tent applies quality checks throughout the production process. Before any order leaves the factory, our team conducts the following inspections:

• Fabric seam strength testing on welded joints
• Frame joint integrity and connector verification
• Waterproofing checks on all critical seam areas
• Component count and labelling for export packaging
• Trial assembly for large, complex or custom projects

Our manufacturing practices align with EN 13782 temporary structures standards and ISO quality management principles.
